CO2 emission report 2025 (R) - Flipbook - Page 9
EMISSION OVERVIEW
Our environmental impact is assessed across three distinct scopes as de昀椀ned by the GHG Protocol, widely used
methodology for emissions calculations.
As in previous years we have calculated the same categories and subcategories, visualization is in Figure 2.

EMISSION INTENSITIES
While absolute emissions show the total environmental impact, intensity metrics provide a more accurate picture
of a company’s e昀케ciency. For an expanding company like the Micro Matic group, absolute emissions may rise
due to acquisitions or increased production, but a decreasing intensity shows that the company is “decoupling” its
growth from its carbon footprint.
It could be noted from Table 1 below, Scope 1 intensity decreased by 54%, while Scope 2 intensity fell by 49% compared to the base year. This is a positive trend, indicating that Micro Matic is using fewer resources to generate the
same revenue. The same pattern follows in Scope 3 – its positive trend.
