CARBON FOOTPRINT
During the 2024/2025 昀椀nancial year (FY24/25), the Micro Matic Group experienced a signi昀椀cant period of strategic growth, consolidation, and investment. This report evaluates our greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory for the
third consecutive year. To ensure a reliable and transparent comparison following the strategic integration of new
companies, we have utilized a polishing data collection methodology and recalculated our Base Year to FY22/23.
Our total Company-wide carbon footprint for FY24/25 reached approximately 921 thousand tons of CO2e. The vast
majority of these emissions, approximately 99.4%, originate from extended value chain, categorized as Scope 3, the
same pattern as it was during the base year (see Figure 1). Signi昀椀cant growth of Scope 3 is related to Micro Matic
Group growth and newly integrated companies. But integrated new companies are sustainable as our absolute
Scope 1 and 2 values are decreasing and Scope 3 increases mainly related to signi昀椀cant growth of Scope 3.2.
