AT A GLANCE
Micro Matic’s greenhouse gas emission calculations are prepared in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas
Protocol, including the Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope
3) Accounting and Reporting Standard. We use this methodology to measure, classify and report emissions
consistently across Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 categories, ensuring that our results are transparent,
comparable and suitable for tracking performance over time.
Our climate targets are de昀椀ned as near-term reduction targets, meaning that they are intended to be achieved
within ten years from the selected base year (2022/2023). This approach allows us to translate long-term climate
ambition into practical, measurable annual progress. For Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, Micro Matic applies a
linear reduction pathway of approximately 4.2% per year. For Scope 3 emissions, where reductions depend heavily
on supplier engagement, product design, data maturity and value-chain collaboration, we apply a linear reduction
pathway of approximately 2.5% per year.
