FOUNDATION
Dear customers, suppliers and stakeholders of Micro Matic,
We are pleased to share our CO2 Emission Report for the 昀椀nancial year 2024/2025. This is our fourth consecutive year
of Group-wide greenhouse gas accounting, and from our very 昀椀rst report we have measured our emissions across all
three scopes. Each year has built on the one before, with better data, wider coverage, and a clearer picture of where
our footprint really sits. This report continues that steady work, now for the 昀椀rst time under a dedicated Group ESG
function.
Our carbon footprint, and sustainability more broadly, matters to us. As a privately owned, family-based Danish group,
responsible conduct is part of who we are and how we run the business for the long term. We feel a real obligation
to act on it. At the same time, we see clearly that our stakeholders need Micro Matic to be a reliable partner, one
that takes responsibility within the larger value chains it belongs to and is open about where it stands. To live up to
this, and to meet the rising expectations ahead, we have anchored ESG at Group and Executive Management level.
Sustainability is discussed and decided at the top of the organization, which we see as an important step.
FY24/25 was a year of integration. Our focus was on fully integrating the companies acquired over the previous
year into the Group, both operationally and within our reporting scope. This broader, more consolidated basis is
re昀氀ected in our absolute emission 昀椀gures. At the same time, our Group-wide carbon intensity improved further
against our FY22/23 base year, our Scope 1 emissions came down, and several of our larger entities now run entirely
on renewable electricity. Local initiatives across our sites, from optimizing production in Denmark to expanding
refurbishment capacity in Croatia, show a real and growing commitment to lowering our impact.
We have a clear view of what comes next. We will continue to sharpen our data quality and drive our decarbonization
roadmap into concrete action, with Scope 3 at the center of our efforts. Covering our entire value chain, it is where
we hold the greatest lever for reduction, and that is exactly where we are placing our focus. We move ahead with
con昀椀dence in our direction and full transparency about our progress.
