Enhancing environmental sustainability of our products
Reducing the environmental impact of our products is a central part of our decarbonization work, as the use phase
of sold products remains one of the largest contributors to our footprint. As part of this effort, the Micro Matic
Group is preparing a structured assessment of product emissions and working closely with customers to reduce
the environmental impact of our products across their life cycle.
Through following efforts (excluding Scope 3, Category 2 (Capital Goods)), Micro Matic achieved a 19% reduction
in annual CO2e emissions, demonstrating a tangible shift toward sustainable energy consumption across the
Group. This accomplishment re昀氀ects the collective commitment of team members to enhancing the Company’s
resource utilization.
Our work remains ongoing as we continue to identify and develop projects that further reduce CO2e emissions and
minimize environmental impact throughout our supply chain.
To further understand the impact of our supply chain on end products, we collaborate directly with suppliers,
encouraging them to adopt sustainable production practices. This partnership signi昀椀cantly improves the accuracy
and maturity of our supply chain data.
Looking forward, we remain committed to advancing our environmental initiatives by taking incremental steps
towards substantial change, and by working closely with suppliers and prioritizing eco-friendly product design.
