CARBON FOOTPRINT
For the third year in a row, we are accounting for our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to understand our
footprint and identify ways of reducing our emissions. In FY2021/2022, we performed the exercise for the 昀椀rst
time. The data was incomplete in some parts, and emissions were estimated using a combination of calculation
and extrapolation methods, as per the technical guidance of the GHG Protocol. For this reason, the results were
subject to uncertainty; however, it helped us identify gaps in the data.
We have now reached a point where we feel the data accuracy and certainty are high enough to set the basis for
our long-lasting GHG Inventory methodology. Using this re昀椀ned data collection methodology, we have calculated
our footprint for FY23/24 and performed inventory recalculations for FY22/23, which we selected as our Base Year.

Our Company-wide GHG emissions in FY23/24 amounted to roughly 283.089 tonnes of CO2e, including emissions
from the use of sold products. Our own operations (scopes 1 and 2) make up 1.110 and 4.632 tonnes, respectively.
Most of our total carbon footprint comes from our value chain (scope 3), with 277.347 tonnes. FY23/24 was the
year of growth for Micro Matic Group.
