SUSTAINABILITY GOVERNANCE
The environmental sustainability agenda is anchored on multiple levels of the Micro Matic organization to engage
senior leadership and ensure direction setting. Equally important is to ensure organizational buy-in and anchoring
in the business and across geographies while being able to share progress with external and internal stakeholders.

EXECUTIVE
MANAGEMENT
Executive management is responsible for the
overall ambition and direction of the sustainability agenda in Micro Matic, including prioritization, 昀椀nancing, and stop-go decisions.
Topics related to sustainability are discussed
in the main fora: Executive Management Reviews. Participants are shown to the right.
ENVIRONMENTAL
DEPARTMENT
The environmental department is responsible for
translating Micro Matic’s strategic ambitions into
speci昀椀c action by involving stakeholders internally
and externally, reporting on progress, updating
calculations annually, supporting business units, and
improving Micro Matic’s ability to make informed
decisions on the sustainability agenda.
The sustainability agenda is anchored with Executive
Management when they discuss sustainability on
Management Reviews (once a year)

COUNTRY
AMBASSADORS
Country ambassadors are responsible for local
action plans and target setting, adapting frameworks and reduction levers to a local a market
context, engaging local stakeholders and suppliers
and coordinating with the sustainability working
group and other country ambassadors to ensure
implementation.
